Refund policy

Refunds

With the nature of living plants, we do not accept plants to be returned. The changes of them surviving being shipped two times is very unlikely. So if you have received your plant already it cannot be returned. If you have not received your order and it has not been packaged yet, you can contact us to see if we can refund your order.  We will notify you to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Winter Ordering

It is your responsibility to order a insulated liner and heat pack if you live in a cold state. We are not responsible for plants that are damaged due to cold weather. Please protect your plants in the winter months and order these two items. They keep your plants comfortable for their travel! You can also upgrade to 2 day air to insure you plants arrive fast! For this option, please email connect@weareplantlovers.com to get your shipping quote or notify us under Special Instructions in your cart We DO NOT cover cold damage. It is your responsibility to get your plants inside within 10 minutes of being delivered. 

Damaged Plants

We do our absolute best to package your plants to ensure a safe journey. However, once they leave our location and enter the hands of the postal service it is out of our control as to what can happen to their safety. If your plant does arrive damaged from a brutal shipping experience please take pictures and contact us at connect@weareplantlovers.com. We do apply insurance on all our packages so we can help you file a claim to get $$ back.  

Cuttings, Unrooted Plants, & Imports

These are high risk plants as they are not fully root and mature. They can be easily stressed during shipping and we recommend having experience in rehabbing and rooting plants. We do not refund cuttings but we will consider replacing them. Please contact connect@weareplantlovers.com if you feel you need to replace your cutting. 

 

Exact Plants

The plants in the pictures are not the exact plant you will get unless the plant is uniquely named and we have only 1 of that specific plant. As our beloved customers, you must trust us that we only pick out the best plants and know when you order from a group of plants, they are all epic (not just the one shown in the picture). It would take a very long time to upload every picture of every plant. So the picture shows the type of plant you are buying but not the exact plant you get. On rare, expensive plants, we will unique name them and individually put them up on the site. Once they are bought, they will be marked as SOLD OUT since it is a individual plant, not a group of plants. Make sense? No refunds will be issued if you purchase a plant from a plant group and think that it is the exact plant in the photo. Plant Imperfection

We do our best to hand select our plants but they do very. There may be a blemish or crispy edge on your plant. This will not be considered grounds for a refund. The beauty of plants is their differences and perfect imperfections. 

Pest Patrol 

Pests are part of plants. They are growing organisms and part of their living environment invites the not so fun world of pests. We do an incredible job of pest maintenance on our plant babies. In the rare chance that we miss one please reach out to receive our pest protocol for the particular bug your plant may have encountered. If your plant isn't treatable we will refund you 100%. If you can treat the plant we give a 25% refund. 

Order Processing 

We are a VERY small business and our processing time can take between 7-10 business days. 80% of our orders do go out in 3-5 business days. Thanks for your patience and understanding. We are GROWING and are excited to keep providing you with the best plants packed to perfection to ensure they get to you safe and sound!
